ABOUT VW IRISH DANCING IN SWINDON

VW Irish Dancing was set up in 2006 as community group to promte Irish Dancing in Swindon. We are a small friendly dancing group, we pride ourselves on our community spirt and friendly atmosphere. We are in the process of setting up a dancing class in Cirencester starting on Wednesday 3rd November.

The Principle Vicky Williams has been dancing since the age of 5 until she retired competitively at the age of 19 as an Open Championship Dancer.

Vicky also is one of the only people in the Country to have been to New York to Work at the Camp Rince Ceol Summer Camp.

We belong to the Cead Mile Failte Organistion (CMFA), which is a small friendly organisation, comprising of schools from Hertfordshire, Kent, Sussex, Essex, Isle of Wight, Sussex, London and Wiltshire.

To find out more about CMFA please follow the below link.

The class ethos is that dancing should be fun and all children are given the opportunity to both perform and compete.

VW Irish Dancing is a dancing class for children aged 4 and above.
