JANUARY 2012
WE ARE BACK AFTER THE CHRISTMAS BREAK AND LOOKING FORWARD TO THE DANCING YEAR AHEAD. WE HAVE OUR BIG FEIS TO LOOK FORWARD TO ON 4TH FEBRUARY. FOR 20 OF OUR DANCERS IT WILL BE THEIR FIRST FEIS AS A VW IRISH DANCER. WE WANT TO WISH EVERY A FUN AND FAB DAY!
AUGUST 2011
We are now on Summer Holidays. In May at the Carter Feis and June at the Claddagh Feis we had another lot of exceptional results. Well done to Courtney for winning out of beginners at her first feis in June. Well done to Ciara and Jada for getting their first dances in Open. Well done to Chloe for winning her Treble Reel and is now intermediate, to Stacey for getting her Trophy Reel and Slip Jig into intermediate. Congratulations to Nessy for now dancing everything in Open. Also Lauren won into Open in her Trophy Reel.
Overall it has been a very successful time for VW Irish Dancing and we are looking forward to our class feis in September and we will be working on our schowcase for the end of year championship.
April 2011
Update for 2011 - so far VW Irish Dancers have attended 3 Feis' this year - all the dancers have been doing fab! All the dancers that attended the qualifying feis' for the end of year championships have qualified!
Congratulations to all the dancers who have moved up a grade recently - Rosie, Lauren, Jada, Stacey, Nessy.
A special well done to Nessy on winning her first Open Championship at the Drumenagh Feis.
All the results have been excellent and Vicky could not be prouder of all of the dancers.
